Our Vineyard
We have planted all our vines by hand with the help of a great local vine supplier. Since the initial planting of approximately 2,000 vines we have added new vines and varieties over the following years.
We made the decision to plant predominantly Piwi varieties believing these will thrive in the North Yorkshire climate. This will also allow us to be as sustainable as possible in our approach to growing the vines. We follow on from our previous sheep farming using sustainable principles and an organic approach.
