In 2021 we planted our first vines by hand, gradually the number and varieties has increased until today we have a total of 14,000 vines with 13 different varieties. Our wine production has also grown over the past couple of years and we anticipate the 2025 season to be our first significant production year. Our aim is to produce a range of outstanding, characterful wines that reflect the cooler climate of Yorkshire and the unique terroir of the area.
Starting as a passion project, evolving into a full scale vineyard
We are a family run vineyard and winery in Yorkshire. The vineyard is situated on the outskirts of Bilton-in-Ainsty in the Vale of York, between Harrogate, York and Wetherby. We are a small team consisting of four family members, one fantastic part timer and other volunteers. Our dog team also work hard at keeping the birds off the grapes at harvest time.
